Biography
Studied at Lisbon Theatre and Film School, where he graduated in cinema. He is currently studying for a master's degree in Communication Sciences, specializing in Cinema and Television, at the NOVA University Lisbon. His first film, produced in a school context, AFERNOON SUN (2020), premiered at IndieLisboa. It was shown at various festivals across the country and won the award for Best Portuguese School Short Film at Queer Porto. It has been shown at festivals in Europe, Asia, South America and North America. It has video-on-demand distribution in the UK, USA, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the Netherlands, Australia and Taiwan. The film is part of The Male Gaze: Bitter Sweet collection, a partnership between NQVmedia and Amazon Prime. INFINITY RIVER is his second short film. Currently he’s preparing his third short film, THE HUNT, set to shoot in 2026. He’s one of the founders of BRAVADO FILMES - a platform for the sustainable creation of disruptive works, which favors an editorial line dedicated to young and emerging artists on the Portuguese film scene.
