Gonçalo Pina's short film will have its World Premiere at IDFA – International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (The Netherlands).
The film "Infinity River" (2025, Portugal, DOC/FIC, 22′) has been officially selected for the 19th edition of IDFA – International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, the world’s largest documentary festival. Produced by Bravado Filmes, this short film directed by Gonçalo Pina will have its world premiere in the Short Documentary Competition of the festival, taking place between November 13th to 23rd, 2025, in Amsterdam.
The film portrays the invisible lives of those who cross the river every day to care for, build, and serve a city that, by the end of the day, watches them leave with indifferent distance. These are the thousands who, throughout their lives, repeat the pendular movement from the South Bank to Lisbon — an endless flow of passage, displacement, and anonymity.
