Alice Eça Guimarães' animation film is part of the official selection of 69th edition of the San Francisco International Film Festival (USA).
The short film “Because Today is Saturday” (Alice Eça Guimarães, 2025, Portugal/France/Spain, ANI, 12′) has been selected for the official programme of the 69th edition of the SFFILM – San Francisco International Film Festival, where it will have its California premiere. Recognised as the longest-running film festival in the Americas, the event will take place from April 24th to May 4th, 2026, in San Francisco.
