The films directed by Marta Reis Andrade, Margarida Paias, and Alice Eça Guimarães are part of the official selection of Filmfest Dresden – Dresden's International Short Film Festival (Germany).
The short film “Dog Alone” (Marta Reis Andrade, 2025, Portugal/France, ANI, 13′) has been selected for the International Competition of the 38th edition of the Filmfest Dresden – International Short Film Festival. Also at the festival, the films “Rui Carlos” (Margarida Paias, 2025, Portugal, FIC, 15′) and “Because Today is Saturday” (Alice Eça Guimarães, 2025, Portugal/France/Spain, ANI, 12′) will be screened in open-air cinema sessions. Dedicated exclusively to short films, the festival will take place from April 14th to 19th, 2026, in Dresden, Germany.
