The films "Dog Alone", "The Bird From Within" and "Amarelo Banana" are part of the official selection for Animateka – International Animation Film Festival (Slovenia).
The short films “Dog Alone” (Marta Reis Andrade, 2025, Portugal/France, ANI, 13′), “Amarelo Banana” (Alexandre Sousa, 2025, Portugal/Hungary, ANI, 13′) and “The Bird From Within” (Laura Anahory, 2024, Portugal, ANI, 6′) are part of the official selection of Animateka – International Animation Film Festival, where they will make their debut in Slovenia. In the Main Competition, the festival will screen “Amarelo Banana”, directed by Alexandre Sousa. Marta Reis Andrade’s “Dog Alone” will be presented in one of the Best of the World programmes, while Laura Anahory’s “The Bird From Within” is part of one of the Student Panorama programmes.
Recognised as one of the main platforms dedicated to animated films in Slovenia, Animateka will hold its 22nd edition between December 1st and 7th in the city of Ljubljana.
