At the 31st edition of the Caminhos Film Festival, the Agência – Portuguese Short Film Agency presents eight films in competition in the Caminhos section: “The Hunters" (David Pinheiro Vicente, 2024, Portugal/France, FIC, 30′), “Because Today is Saturday” (Alice Eça Guimarães, 2025, Portugal/France/Spain, ANI, 12′), “La Durmiente” (Maria Inês Gonçalves, 2025, Portugal/Spain, DOC/FIC, 20′), “Under The Moutains' Shadow” (Diogo Salgado, 2025, Portugal/France/Belgium, FIC, 20′), “Amarelo Banana” (Alexandre Sousa, 2025, Portugal/Hungary, ANI, 13′), “Sol Menor” (André Silva Santos, 2025, Portugal, FIC, 27′), “Bright Summer Days” (Nevena Desivojević, 2025, Serbia/North Macedonia/Republic of Srpska/Portugal/Bosnia and Herzegovina, FIC, 14′) and “Dog Alone” (Marta Reis Andrade, 2025, Portugal/France, ANI, 13′). In the Ensaios section, the animated short “The Bird From Within” (Laura Anahory, 2024, Portugal, ANI, 6′) is also featured.
This festival dedicated to Portuguese cinema will take place from November 15th to 22nd, in the city of Coimbra, bringing together filmmakers, producers, and audiences to celebrate and promote national film creation.
