The films “Sol Menor” and “La Durmiente” are among the candidates for nominations for the annual European Film Academy awards.
The short films “Sol Menor” (André Silva Santos, 2025, Portugal, FIC, 27′) and “La Durmiente” (Maria Inês Gonçalves, 2025, Portugal/Spain, DOC/FIC, 20′) are in contention for nominations at the European Film Academy Awards. “La Durmiente” secured its selection at the 54th International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), while “Sol Menor” was chosen during the 33rd Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival.
The official nominees will be revealed on October 31st, 2025, at the 70th SEMINCI – Valladolid International Film Week.
