The films "Because Today is Saturday", "The Hunters" and "Sol Menor" are part of the official selection of ALCINE – Alcalá de Henares / Community of Madrid Film Festival (Spain).
The short film "Because Today Is Saturday" (Alice Eça Guimarães, 2025, Portugal/France/Spain, ANI, 12′) will be featured, alongside "The Hunters" (David Pinheiro Vicente, 2024, Portugal/France, FIC, 30′) and "Sol Menor" (André Silva Santos, 2025, Portugal, FIC, 27′), in the European Short Film Contest of the ALCINE – Alcalá de Henares Film Festival. It will be at this festival that Alice Eça Guimarães’ film will have its National premiere on Spanish terrritory.
The event is preparing to celebrate its 54th edition, which will take place from November 6th to 16th, in Madrid.
