André Silva Santos' film is part of the official selection at the San Sebastián International Film Festival (Spain).
The short film “Sol Menor” (André Silva Santos, 2025, Portugal, FIC, 27′) has been officially selected for the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Following its Portuguese premiere at Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival, where it garnered the Best Film Award in the Festival’s Portuguese Competition and a nomination for the 2026 European Film Awards, André Silva Santos’s work is set to premiere internationally in Spain.
Co-produced by Terratreme Filmes and Bravado Filmes, this film will compete in the Zabaltegi-Tabakalera section at the festival’s 73rd edition, taking place from September 19th to 27th. The San Sebastián International Film Festival or Donostiako Nazioarteko Zinemaldia is Spain’s most important film festival, as well as one of the oldest in Europe.
