Six Portuguese premieres and five world premieres will be celebrated at the 33rd Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival.
The short films “Amarelo Banana” by Alexandre Sousa, “Bright Summer Days” by Nevena Desivojević, “Dog Alone” by Marta Reis Andrade, “Neko” by Inês Oliveira, “Easier Nights” by João Pedro Mamede, “Ofélia” by Carlos Lobo, “Because Today is Saturday” by Alice Eça Guimarães, “Rui Carlos” by Margarida Paias, “Sol Menor” by André Silva Santos, “The Bird From Within” by Laura Anahory and “Under the Moutains' Shadow” by Diogo Salgado are in the official selection for the 33rd edition of Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival, which will take place from July 12th to 20th.
Among all these Portuguese and world premieres in the festival's various competitions, Curtas Vila do Conde also highlights filmmaker Maureen Fazendeiro and her works in the “New Voices” program, which will screen films such as “Black Sun” and “The Inhabitants”.
