Alexandre Sousa's short film is part of the official selection of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival.
The short film "Amarelo Banana" (2025, ANI, 13', directed by Alexandre Sousa, has been selected for the "Midnight Specials" section of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
This international co-production between AIM Creative Studios (Portugal) and CUB Animation (Hungary) will have its French premiere at the world's most prestigious animation film festival. For the first time, the festival is hosting the "Midnight Shorts", two non-competitive short film programs featuring thrillers, atmospheric films, and dystopian animation cinema, offering variety and reflection on the genre.
