In addition to "Bright Summer Days", two other Portuguese short films have been selected for the festival: "That's How I Love You" (Mário Macedo, 2024, Croatia/Portugal, FIC, 18') and "The Hunters" (David Pinheiro Vicente, 2024, Portugal/France, FIC, 30').

"The Hunters", by David Pinheiro Vicente, is a Portuguese-French co-production that portrays a bourgeois family on vacation at a countryside house in the 1970s, as an era of repression nears its end. The story focuses on teenage cousins and the latent tension that erupts into violence with the arrival of an outsider. The film was awarded Best Director at the Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival and has been selected for 13 festivals.
