The films by Maria Trigo Teixeira, Carlos Pereira, Dimitri Mihajlovic, Miguel Lima and Marta Monteiro are in the official competition selection of INTERFILM - Berlin International Short Film Festival.
In the year that INTERFILM - Berlin International Short Film Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary, the films ‘It Shouldn't Rain Tomorrow’, ‘Almost Forgotten’, and ‘Cold Soup’ are part of the list of short films in competition for the festival's awards.
‘It Shouldn't Rain Tomorrow‘ (Maria Trigo Teixeira, 2024, Portugal / Germany, ANI, 11′) and 'Slimane' (Carlos Pereira, 2023, Germany, FIC,19') compete in the national film category, while 'Almost Forgotten' (Dimitri Mihajlovic / Miguel Lima, 2023, Portugal, ANI, 9′), and ‘Cold Soup’ (Marta Monteiro, 2023, Portugal / France, ANI, 10’) compete in the international film category.
At the same time, Mónica Lima's film ‘Human Nature’ will also be screened at the festival as a short film nominee for the ESFAA – European Short Film Audience Award.
