The awards in Coimbra went to 'Shimmering Bodies', 'Almost Forgotten', '2720', 'Exotic Words Drifted', 'The Damned Yard', 'De Imperio' and 'Cul-De-Sac'.
The short film 'Shimmering Bodies', by Inês Teixeira, won the award for Best Fiction at the Caminhos do Cinema Português Festival, whose ceremony took place last Sunday, November 18th, in Coimbra.
The Caminhos Selection jury also recognized the film 'Almost Forgotten', by Dimitri Mihajlovic and Miguel Lima, with the award for Best Animation, as well as the film '2720', by Basil da Cunha, with the award for Best Director. 'The Damned Yard', by André Gil Mata, won the award for Best Sound, given to Rafael Cardoso. The film 'De Imperio', by Alessandro Novelli, also won the award for Best Original Soundtrack, given to Simon Smith and Jonathan Darch. 'Cul-De-Sac', by Mário Macedo and Vanja Vascarac, won the award for Best Poster, given to Igor Gonçalves and André Pinto.
The jury of the Outros Olhares Selection highlighted the film 'Exotic Words Drifted', by Sandro Aguilar, with the CISION award for Best Film in the category.
