André Silva Santos' film was selected for the competition at the first edition of the IBERSHORTS Awards, which will take place at the 29th Malaga Film Festival.
The short film “Sol Menor” (André Silva Santos, 2025, Portugal, FIC, 27′) has been nominated for the Ibershorts Awards. Organized by the Málaga Film Festival, in collaboration with the Festhome platform, this initiative aims to promote internationally fiction and animated short films produced in Ibero-American countries (excluding Spain). In that regard, André Silva Santos’ film will compete for the Silver Biznaga Award for Best Ibero-American Short Film during the 29th edition of the Málaga Film Festival, taking place from March 6th to 15th in the city of Málaga.
