The animated film directed by Alexandra Ramires and Laura Gonçalves was nominated for the 2025 Emile Awards – European Animation Awards.
The short film “Percebes” (Alexandra Ramires, Laura Gonçalves, 2024, Portugal/France, ANI/DOC, 11′) has been nominated by the European Animation Pride Awards Association committee as one of the five best European short films competing for the Emile Awards – the European Animation Awards — in the category of Best Character Design and Background.
The European Animation Pride Awards Association is led by a committee consisting of Vassilis C. Karamitsanis, Nancy Denney-Phelps, and Delphine Nicolini, along with other members representing over ten European countries.
The Emile Awards ceremony will take place during the Black Nights Film Festival, on Sunday, November 16, at 6:00 p.m. (EET), at the Sõprus Cinema in Estonia.
