'2720' awarded with the Best Swiss Film 2023.
The fiction short film'2720', by Basil da Cunha, won Best Swiss Film 2023 at the 27th Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, which took place between November 7th and 12th in this Swiss city.
Commissioned and coproduced by Batalha (ÁGORA - CULTURA E DESPORTO DO PORTO) and Egdar Medina (ARQUIPÉLAGO FILMES), '2720' (2023, Portugal / Swiss, FIC, 25 min) follows the intersection of two characters: seven-year-old Camila, who sets out in search of her missing brother after a police raid, and Jysone, who, released after serving a prison sentence, walks around the neighbourhood looking for a lift to work.
