“Anteu” e “Slope” at Mostra de São Paulo

“Anteu” and “Slope” will be screened at the 43rd Mostra São Paulo International Film Festival.

The films “Anteu”, by João Vladimiro andSlope”, by Eduardo Brito, will be screened at the 43rd Mostra São Paulo International Film, that will take place in Brazil, from October 17th to 30th. 

“Cinema and Poetry - Portuguese Short Film Program” is the title of the session, which will take place at the Moreira Salles - Paulista Institute, on October 26th, at 4 pm. After the screening, the Portuguese artists involved in these films talk to the audience about the relationship between word and image. The screening will have the presence of the director of "Ambulatory Through the Poetry of Augusto dos Anjos and António Nobre", Pedro Bastos, the director and scriptwriter of "Slope", Eduardo Brito, and the writer Gonçalo M. Tavares, that participated in the narration of "Anteu". The program is part of the theme "From Word to Image", which will guide part of the sessions and events of the festival.

The São Paulo International Film Festival is one of the main Brazilian events dedicated to cinema with a program that includes around 300 films, open-air cinema sessions and exhibitions in cultural spaces and museums in the city of São Paulo.
