Biography
Alexandre Siqueira is an animation filmmaker, illustrator, and teacher. In 2000, he co-directs his first animated short film, “Cold Soup,” at CITEN/Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. In 2008, Alexandre goes to La Poudrière school, in France, where he directs “Journey to the Sunflower Field.” Since then, Alexandre has developed and collaborated on several short and feature film projects, animated series, and music videos. In parallel, Alexandre is active in the field of education. In 2018, he directs “Purpleboy,” which has a very expressive run at festivals, as well as a significant number of awards. “TERMINAL” is his most recent animated short film.
