The Agência – Portuguese Short Film Agency will take part in the 40th edition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival, taking place from June 6th to 14th, 2025, in Mexico.
This year, Portugal has been named the Guest Country of Honor, at FICG – Guadalajara International Film Festival providing a unique opportunity to showcase Portuguese cinema in the Ibero-American context.
The Agência's participation is part of a broader program dedicated to Portuguese cinematography, featuring a curated selection of both contemporary and heritage works. In addition to film screenings, the Portuguese delegation will be actively involved in the festival’s industry events, such as the Co-Production Meeting, Pitch GDL, Episodio 0, FICGames, and the Portugal-LATAM Producers’ Meeting, within the Guadalajara Film Market.
FICG is recognized as one of the leading platforms for the promotion, dissemination, and appreciation of Mexican and Ibero-American cinema, and it stands as a cultural landmark in Latin America.
