Seven films distributed by the Agency will be shown at the 8th Portuguese Cinema Week in Buenos Aires, which will take place between March 10 and 14.
The short films "Perpetual Night", by Pedro Peralta (Terratreme; Kinoelektron); "In a Foreign Country", by Karen Akerman and Miguel Seabra Lopes (Pela Madrugada, Terratreme); "Trials, Exorcisms", by Susana Nobre (Terratreme); "High Cities of Bones", by João Salaviza (Terratreme); "Idle Road", by André Godinho (Terratreme); "An Aviation Field", by Joana Pimenta (Terratreme); and "September", by Leonor Noivo (Terratreme) will be shown at the Travesías Terratreme Focus of the 8th Portuguese Cinema Week in MALBA, which will take place from March 10th to 14th, in online format.
This initiative has the support of Camões IP, Embassy of Portugal in Argentina, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and MALBA. Produced and programmed by VAIVEM, a cinematographic association based in Buenos Aires, Quito and Lisbon, the Portuguese Cinema Week presents in this edition a careful selection of some of the most representative works of Portuguese cinematography.
In addition to the exhibition of works, the program of the 8th Portuguese Cinema Week will also include seminars and conversations with the directors of Travesías Focus.
The works promoted and distributed by the Short Film Agency will be shown on March 11th and 12th.
