The short film "Entre Sombras", by Alice Eça Guimarães and Mónica Santos, won the Special International Jury Prize at the Hiroshima Animation Festival.
Produced by Animais, in partnership with Vivement Lundi! and Um Segundo Films, the film combines techniques of animation cinema and traditional cinema, in a policeman and noir atmosphere.
The jury, composed by Ishu Patel (Canada), Priit Pärn (Estonia), Oxana Cherkasova (Russia), Isabelle Favez (Switzerland) and Masao Maruyama (Japan), considered that "the cinematic arrangement and the remarkable set design works beautifully" and also that "the mood of the film noir “in an animated world” suggesting a strong message".
