Biography
Carlos Lobo (Guimarães, 1974) is a filmmaker, photographer, musician, researcher and programmer in the field of photography. Professor at the School of Arts of the Catholic University of Portugal, he is a researcher at CITAR – Center for Research in Science and Technology of the Arts. Doctor in Science and Technology of the Arts from the Catholic University of Porto. Since 2018, he has been the coordinator of the Master of Photography at Escola das Artes, UCP Porto. He is also an independent programmer at CAAA (Art and Architecture Affairs Center) and editor of LEBOP, an independent book publisher specialized in photography books. As a photographer, he has already published several monographs, and his work is represented in numerous and prestigious photography collections.
